Aptos integrates with Chainlink for off-chain access
Aptos has integrated Chainlink Data Feeds, allowing developers to access off-chain data for building decentralized applications.
The move, announced by Aptos (apt-0.64%), improves the scalability and security of Aptos-based apps by leveraging Chainlink’s tamper-proof and reliable infrastructure.
Chainlink is widely considered as a standard for supplying verifiable data to blockchains, with a decentralized oracle network that supports important decentralized finance protocols.
Chainlink ensures the accuracy and dependability required for sophisticated Web3 applications by collecting premium data from numerous sources and removing single points of failure. Earlier this week, Ripple revealed plans to use Chainlink’s blockchain technology to offer accurate pricing data for its RLUSD stablecoin.
Scalability and efficiency
This agreement strengthens Aptos’ reputation for scalability and efficiency. The blockchain’s Move programming language and modular architecture enable faster transactions with lower latency.
Aptos’ Block-STM engine supports complex transactions, making it an attractive platform for developers seeking to build secure and scalable solutions. “The Chainlink standard enables developers to access high-quality, tamper-proof data, vital for building secure applications,” said Bashar Lazaar, Head of Grants and Ecosystem at the Aptos Foundation.
