Chainlink unveils new startup program ‘Build on Solana’

Chainlink wants to stimulate web3 innovation on Solana by launching a new startup initiative called Build on Solana.

The Chainlink -5.53% Chainlink program intends to increase Solana (SOL-1.91%).

Solana network adoption is supported by web3 programs that build atop the layer 1 blockchain.

Build on Solana targets teams who use the Chainlink standard to work on Solana. Selected initiatives will receive expert support, technical mentorship, expansion resources, and greater market awareness.

“With Build on Solana, we’re deepening our collaboration with the Solana ecosystem to support teams developing the next generation of on-chain applications,” said Sheth Sanket, Chainlink Labs’ VP of Revenue and Partnerships. “We’re providing the infrastructure, resources, and community connections needed for projects to scale securely and reliably with Chainlink’s platform and Solana’s fast, composable network,” says Sanket. Chainlink’s success as a leading industry platform has allowed it to integrate and collaborate on a large number of projects. The Oracle network’s partners span both the decentralised and traditional finance markets. Chainlink’s technology has been used by major institutions such as Fidelity International, ANZ Bank, and Swift. DeFi platforms like Aave, GMX, and Lido also rely on Chainlink infrastructure.

On May 14, 2025, J.P. Morgan selected Chainlink and Ondo Finance to power its first cross-chain delivery versus payment transaction. Earlier, on-chain infrastructure platform Libre Capital announced a relationship with Chainlink to extend its tokenised funds.

This new initiative will allow projects to access into Chainlink’s vast ecosystem for crucial growth milestones. Notable solutions include the Chainlink cross-chain interoperability protocol, Chainlink runtime environment, data feeds, and data streams.

The program, developed in collaboration with the Solana Foundation, is meant to encourage innovation by providing infrastructure assistance and potential incentives. Chainlink states that the initiative is available to both early-stage and established enterprises in decentralised banking, consumer apps, and infrastructure.
