Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin Names Three ‘Huge Opportunities’ in Cryptocurrency Right Now

Ethereum(ETH) founder Vitalik Buterin says there are currently three big opportunities in the cryptocurrency industry.

The Chairman of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, shared his views on what he considers three of the biggest opportunities currently available in the crypto space in an episode of the Bankless podcast.

Ethereum creator, despite acknowledging that there are fewer obvious ideas, first mentions crypto wallets as one “huge” opportunity. ” Right now, there’s less low-hanging fruit, but there’s still a lot of opportunity, like building a wallet that a billion people will use. 

Next, Buterin predicts stablecoins will be the next big innovation in the crypto industry. You can make a stablecoin that will survive anything, including a US dollar hyperinflation, and, DOGE forbid, the US dollar hyperinflation ends up actually happening. That, too, is a huge opportunity if you can create something that feels like a lifeline for everyone in that situation. The third opportunity identified by Buterin is the use of cryptocurrency to challenge Big Tech’s hegemony over the internet.
